- Game of the Season (over 20 hours, quarterly, voting)
How It Works
- Nominate - Club Joey members & anyone who beat (RA-verified or screenshot) last period's game can nominate with the nominate button in replies before voting opens
- Vote - weighted ranked-choice poll opens automatically
- Play - winner gets its own Forum post
- Complete - use completed button in replies when done; RA username + screenshot/end screen = bonus recognition & vote weight
Only games beaten in their own period count - don't "completed" old games!
Nominations: 1 per event per period, 1 redo allowed. Nominations reset each period. A game can't be nominated the period right after its own series/franchise wins - eligible again the period after.
GOTW: fully automatic - no nominating, no voting.
Abusing "completed" without actually completing games = loss of privileges. Honor system - keep it fun.
General Commands
Good to know
- RA username saves after your first "completed"
- Beating (with evidence) unlocks "nominate"
- Rerun "completed" to upgrade your standing (add RA username, screenshot, or later mastery)
- While you can play the other version of a game that wins for an event, you will lose out on the vote weight bonuses
Vote Weight
- 1.0x base
- 1.5x beaten (unverified)
- 2.0x/2.5x beaten RA-verified (soft/hard)
- 3.0x/3.5x mastery (soft/hard)
- 4.0x/4.5x/5.0x Triple Crown (completed/soft/hard mastery - 1+ GOTM, 1+ ROTM, GOTS same season)
- 5.5x/6.0x/6.5x Perfect Season (completed/soft/hard mastery - ALL 3 GOTM, ALL 3 ROTM, GOTS same season)
+0.75x (end screen) - stacks on top of the tier above.
Each Crown tier = dedicated role, rarity-colored embed, celebration post. Perfect Season hardcore also gets a hall-of-fame cross-post.
Revive
Losing nominees get disqualified for 12 months. Beating a GOTM/ROTM/GOTS game earns 1 revive credit for that event (caps at 1/event/period, expires unused at period's end). Spend a credit with /revive, pick a disqualified game, and it opens a public 24h vote on bringing it back. Multiple revive votes can run at once (different games only). Voting also costs a credit - use them wisely!
